“Double Oak” – a metal bed with massive live edge oak slabs
Invite nature your home with the ‘‘Double Oak‘‘ metal bed – a Kingsize designers‘ jewell. The superior craft piece is created by a blacksmith and a carpenter with more than 15 years of experience in the field of outstanding furniture.
The headboard is built of a steel frame and 2 massive oak slabs with thickness of 3.5 cm. The live edges and natural curves of the wood are preserved in order to underline the superb look of this unique product.
The wood cracks are filled with black epoxy resin, which makes the bed even stronger and enriches the artistic value. The slabs are finished with a transparent combination of oils and natural wax – a guarantee of satin touch and extreme durability.
The steel frame is pained in matte black, and could be finished with gold, silver or copper patina.
The bed slats are integrated in the frame itself and are made of the strongest elastic beech lamellas (68mm wide 10mm thick). The space between the slats and the floor is 28 cm – ideal for storage.
